It is a legal requirement for all landlords to have gas appliances, chimney, flues and pipework checked on an annual basis to ensure that they are safe for use. Following this inspection we provide the landlord or agent with a Landlord’s Gas Safety Certificate or CP12 certificate. This certificate must be copied and given to your tenants within 28 days of its issue and you should also ensure that all new tenants are issued with a copy of the active certificate when they move into your property.
Our Gas Safe Registered engineers will keep you updated on the gas checks as they take place and our landlords system allows you or your agent to book these inspections directly with us.
